Hotel Santa Isabel : Hotel Santa Isabel is located right in the Plaza de Armas, in Old Havana. It hosted ex-USA President Jimmy Carter during his visit to Cuba in 2002. These images were taken in 2005 for an article that appeared in the magazine MACO Destinations. The hotel images are accompained by some others from my portfolio, which provide an idea of the hotel surroundings, located in the Plaza de Armas, a step from La Fuerza Fortress and the Palacio de los Capitanes Generales, and just blocks away from Hotel Ambos Mundos and the World famous restaurant Bodeguita del Medio, locations linked to the life of Ernest Hemingway in Havana....

Paseo y Calle 15, Vedado, La Habana : The mansion of the Mendoza family in Vedado was the first one in Havana to have an indoors swimming pool. Its is now the residence of the British Ambassador to Cuba. Shot in June 2005 for an article of Juliet Barclay that appeared in the Caribbean magazine MACO Caribbean Living (www.macomag.com). Image 2549 made the magazine's cover....
